APPLICATION DEADLINE IS THURSDAY, JUNE 4, 2021
Tampa Hispanic Heritage, Inc. keeps the subject of Hispanic Heritage alive in Art through the annual poster contest. The event, held every year, is an opportunity for local artists to compete for cash prizes and community-level visibility.
Artists in Tampa Bay will have the opportunity to participate and compete for three winning prizes:
$1,200 First Place, $700 Second Place, $300 Third Place

"Traditions in the Hispanic Culture in Tampa Bay”
​
The winning art pieces are selected by a group of prestigious judges from the Tampa Bay community and should reflect the artist’s interpretation or rendition of the 2021 theme.

Entries will be judged in four categories:
- artistic merit
- interpretation of the theme
- graphics effect as a poster
- overall visual impact

Application: Artists must submit the completed application with payment of $30 by check or money order to the attention of Tampa Hispanic Heritage, Inc., P.O. Box 21152, Tampa, FL 33622. Artists can also submit the application and payment through this website. The application is available in Spanish and English and can be found below.

Dropping off the Artwork: Artists shall deliver the finished artwork by Friday, June 4, 2021 by 4 p.m. Delivery location at this time is to be determined (TBD). No artwork will be accepted after 4 p.m. on June 4th, 2021.
​
Unveiling Event: Winners will be announced on Friday, June 25, 2021. The Tampa Bay community is invited to celebrate and support the artists’ work by purchasing a ticket to attend the poster contest unveiling ceremony. Location and details of the awards ceremony to be announced soon.
