DEADLINE for leadership nominations is August 13, 2021. 

The Hispanic Leadership Class of 2019 Awards Dinner Ceremony will be held on Friday, September 6, 2019. Tampa Hispanic Heritage, Inc. promotes leadership in the community by recognizing Hispanics who excel in their field and service in the Hispanic community, with the exception of the Orgullo category where an individual of non-Hispanic descent is recognized for their service to the Hispanic community. The community is encouraged to nominate individuals in the following fields:

  • Art

  • Business

  • Civic Involvement

  • Education

  • Health

  • Media

  • Public Service/ Government

  • Orgullo

Nominees must

  • Be Hispanic

  • Excel in their chosen profession

  • Be a resident of the Tampa Bay Area and have been so for a minimum of three (3) years

  • Be involved in the community promoting, supporting, and preserving the Hispanic culture in the Community

  • In the category of “Orgullo” the nominee must be a non-Hispanic person or organization that excels in its support of the Hispanic community


Nomination Checklist:

  1. Completed nomination form

  2. Photo of nominee

  3. Submit nomination by August 2, 2019 online through the Tampa Hispanic Heritage website

  4. Please do not include any other documents as they will not be considered for selection purposes
