A TRIBUTE TO HISPANIC EXCELLENCE

The Board of Directors of Tampa Hispanic Heritage, Inc. recognizes and honors outstanding Hispanic leaders in the Tampa Bay Area.

 

Criteria for Nominations: 

• Nominees must be Hispanic and maybe from the public or private sector.  Nominations are accepted in 8 categories:  arts, business, civic involvement, health, education, public service/government, media, and “Orgullo”. The “Orgullo” Award is given to a non-Hispanic person or organization whose contributions have enhanced the Hispanic community. 

• Nominees must have achieved outstanding success in their chosen fields, whether it is a traditional career or an active career of volunteer service. 

• Nominees must have resided in the Tampa Bay area for at least three years. 

• Current Board members, former Board members within the last two years, past recipients, and sponsors are not eligible for nominations. 

 

Judging:  The Hispanic Leadership Class of 2022 committee is comprised of a panel of judges who embody high standards of integrity and community service. The winners will be announced in mid-August. 

 

Awards Luncheon:  The awards will be presented at the luncheon reception on Wednesday, September 14th, 2022 at Julian B. Lane River Center, 402 W Laurel St, Tampa, FL 33607.

 

Deadline for Nominations is July 1st, 2022:  Nominations must be submitted online through the Tampa Hispanic Heritage, Inc. website at http://www.tampahispanic.org/leadership-class-awards.
